Mother's Day Muse: Eglė Juzumienė
We recall having Eglė as one of our first ambassadors; with her distinct eye for food photography made us instantly fall in love with her style and the gastronomy scene of Riga, Latvia. Having only seen the Baltic city's airport when heading to Tallinn or Vilnius, Riga remained the mysterious one. We've finally found the right occasion to dig deeper in Latvian culture as well as to call our ambassador, Eglė, our muse; Mother's Day. "I try to avoid defining myself as a mother only because I fell I am so much more: a photographer, a creative, a wife, a friend, a beauty seeker in everyday life, etc. but it's seems that it's kind of tough to draw the line between all these personalities and the "new me" as a mother because all of these got connected so tight." Read on to get to know more about this ever-so-inspiring woman, Eglė, motherhood through her eyes, and her equal fascination for Riga and Vilnius.

Lore of Valletta with Hanna Briffa
I am a mum of two small and very active toddlers, so my days fly by without me noticing. If it’s not them, I love cooking and recently found myself in sourdough baking (it’s my ultimate switch from the everyday madnesses). In between all that, together with my husband, I run a small holiday rental, which is also rapidly growing.
Hotel Zoo Berlin
A few weekends ago we’ve got a busy but rather fruitful stay in Berlin for two (main) reasons. One is obvious; it was ITB and Berlin Travel Festival going on and the second reason is thanks to Hotel Zoo’s exceptional hospitality. After two exhausting days nothing was more welcomed than the hotel’s comfort and lush design accompanied with relaxing facilities such as the gym, outdoor lounge, the Living Room or its famed restaurant and bar, The Grace. We adored as the hotel operates with all sorts of animal references; animal shaped fruit gum candies, a long lush carpet upon entering called catwalk, featuring beautifully woven tigers, and the lovely giraffes in the yard. The 127 rooms and 14 suites housed in this over 120-year-old building are all unique so as its interior and incredible hospitality. Welcome to this surreal jungle-fantasy, let’s take a virtual tour around. Each room has its own layout and character. Some feature open plan bathrooms, exposed brick or curved walls, and others have steps leading into the room. The panorama rooms offer views of either Kurfürstendamm Boulevard or across Berlin's rooftops. The spacious rooms come with equally sumptuous bathrooms with double sinks, super comfy Maison Margiela bathrobes, exclusive April Aromatics natural bath products, and rainshowers. A custom created nail polish by trendy Berlin brand Uslu Airlines can also be found in the rooms.
